HAIR COLORING PROBLOM HELLPPPp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

okay so im 14 and like yesterday my sister got some hair dye and colored her extentions so they can be the same color of her hair......sooo.....i wanted to see what my hair would look like if i put a dye that went two shades lighter so i put a little on the bottom of my dark brown-almost black hair and the new color looked nice but i wanted to go lighter.i never died my hair before until yesterday.i showed my mom it and she said that she had some dark blonde hair dye and i wanted it so she put it in my hair and i washed it out and everything but, when i got out of the shower, MY HAIR TURNED BRIGHT ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i started crying hysterically and today in the morning i went to Sallys Beauty Salon and the girl there gave my a light brown color and she said it would be really good so i tried it AND.......it took about 80% of the orange out but the orange still shows alot and i dont like it!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!! ALL I WANT IS A LIGHT BROWN GOING TO A BLONDE!!!!!!!!!!

You must have a beauty mart around where you live? Its simply a chain of stores intended for stylists but they do sell to the general public. Walk in there and ask them what they recommend doing. Its very hard to go from black/dark brown to blonde. You have to be careful when doing this to your hair. Its not uncommon for it to turn orange. IF you want to become blonde or lighter in color, i again recommend going to the beauty mart and buying some kolondike coloring and some 20color cream. try that it will work and it will not turn orange :)

Wow you got yourself in a pickle there, didn't ya. Since your hair is so dark, making it blonde is extremely hard. You should find a hair coloring kit with the color guide on the back of the box. It shows what color hair will turn what color. Good luck!

Try Going Back And Getting The Same Colour Through it Again And It Should Take The Rest Of The Orange Out .

Did the girl at the salon strip the color out first? If not, go back and ask them to strip the color out and that might help.

Moral of the story......bathroom beauticians should never attempt to color their own hair. Let a pro straighten out your mess %26amp; let a pro color your hair from now on. Unless you know what natural tones your hair has, (gold or red) when deciding what hair color is best, they'll always end up with a disaster, such as yours. :(
