the simplest ways of getting the wavy spiky hair is to use food coloring or koolaid and either egg white, or white glue. (both wash out fairly easily.) mix up the coloring and the medium to a shade just a bit darker than you want and then wet hair and work in the mix. Then it is just a matter of forming it into the style you want.
