Do you know how to dye my hair with the pink underneath?

http://www.jrussellsalons.com/autumn_hai...

The link shows how the hair looks. Is it tips or just dying the underneath of your hair? And how would I do that?

Thanks.

In order to get a color that bright on dark hair, if you don't have naturally dark hair already you need to dye it so. Then lift [bleach] the sections of hair that you want dyed pink. I would use foils so you don't get bleach spots in your hair. I would use Jerome Russell's Punky Hair Color. I heard it lasts fairly long as opposed to other brands.

Right now I have black hair with blue/turqoise streaks. :)

Nope. I'm just a little kid.

Those are highlights...you'd have to bleach the chunks that you want to color pink first, then add the color (usually Manic Panic or something similar). These types of highlights are best left to a pro.

Cute hair, BTW!

i did purple on top and pink underneath for my friend, i drew a triangle with a comb (like an arrow pointing up from the neck) then clipped the two parts away from each other

she has a lot of layers from what I can tell, If someone asked me to do this, I would assume that the underneath is pink and the shorter layers are black. Its like how most people get highlights done, they dont get the whole head because theyre damaging and costly, they get the top section because the hair falls and it all looks highlighted, I would section the hair the same and color the underneath hair pink.

first of all, with most pink dyes, you would have to bleach your hair out first. I would really suggest going to a professional to do this so you don't fry your hair. they will section off the bottom part of your hair and probably foil it. then they'd dye it pink after it has been bleached out so the pink shows. if you insist on doing this at home, you'll really need to give your hair a break between bleaching it and dying it pink. use a very deep conditioning masque for a couple of days after bleaching it and then do the pink dye. but like I said, I would really suggest going to a salon so you don't butcher it.

The color in the picture doesn't look pink to me. Are you sure it isn't black cherry, like the color Sharon Osbourn uses? Anyways, you have to bleach out the parts that you want done and then put the color on it and you have to use foil. You should go to a salon to have it done. If you want just the underneath hair pink, then you just section it off.

it looks like it's dyed underneath, what you'd have to do is pull up the top layer or hair(what you don't want to be pink). I suggest maybe putting some conditioner throughout that top layer to be sure the pink wont bleed onto it. Then apply the pink dye to the rest of the hair.

For best results I'd suggest getting it professionally done. They know more about what they're doing. Just print the picture out %26amp; bring it with you.

i think it's just tips, and also some hair that's under the top layer, so that when u move, some pink shows through. so, i think you'd do about a half inch on the tips or so, and then on the inside hair, dye some of it pink so you can see it. good luck, that's a great style!
