I went to a beauty school today and had my hair bleached to get out the brassy red and had a pretty shade of blonde toner put on. I want to know if I can put a store bought one on it next time such as Clairol or Loreal when my roots start to show.
I have colored my hair for years but it was a guess as to how it would turn out and my problems started when I went to brown and then tried to get back to blonde and that is why bleaching was done today.

I would call the beauty school %26amp; ask when they would recommend that color can be put on again. Ask them what would the difference be between them doing it or you doing it yourself. It seems that the over the counter dyes can be harder on your hair that the ones used by the professionals.
